Just Like Dad
Just like Dad, I have my own set of handyman tools. And thanks to him, I know how to use many of the tools because he teaches me all about them.
Come along on a journey with us to create new memories across a series of jigsaw puzzles that capture a fun project we've completed together!
Hi, My Name Is Josiah!
I am 5 years old. I love to eat peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, to play soccer at the park, and to spend time with my dad when he fixes things around the house. Since I get excited about helping Dad fix things to keep our home safe, my family calls me Little Mr. Fix It. Â
I always watch closely when he tackles projects that Mom puts on his to-do list. And when there’s a list of things to do, that means we get to take a special drive to the hardware store to buy supplies. I just love trips to the hardware store. They always have everything that we need to do a job right!

Inspiration For The Story
Since he was born four years ago, I have watched in awe as the bond between my son and his father has continued to grow stronger.
To interact with a father that is remarkably handy has allowed our son to roll up his little sleeves, pitch in to assist whenever there’s an opportunity to do so, and become a true Little Mr. Fix It himself, just like his dad, and like my step-dad and grandfather who were The Mr. Fixs in my house when I was a kid.
Illustrations for this story were inspired by many of the unforgettable moments shared between my son and his father as they completed household tasks and projects together. It is truly a story I wrote for families like mine and yours.
